Rotterdam based Richard Hutten is one of the most influential and successful Dutch designers. He is well known for his conceptual and playful designs. A true innovator, he has established himself as one of the leading international figures in his field, continuously pushing the boundaries of design.
OASIS
Oasis collection by Richard Hutten is highly visual in the vast desert of mundane design, the first glimpse of the Oasis cabinet stuns the viewer. In an odd way it calms one’s senses, in the way all beauty does. It is sleek and utilitarian, dressed in about two hundred brass “thorns” that allure one to its heart – on opening the cabinet, Hutten’s magic works in details of tiny metal balconies and secret shelves.
Oasis Cabinet is a novel deep green cabinet with pale blue interiors. It is covered in gleaming brass spheres reminiscent of thorns on a succulent cactus.
Recommended use in a residence, hotel or commercial space.
